Ticket to the Sin City!

Hi classmates!

In this new post, i want to talk about a place i would like to visit: Las Vegas, called "The Sin City". Yes, this city in the USA, localized in the Texas state, is a place with many interesting things to visit.

But i can't go to Las Vegas alone. That it's a sin. I want visit this city with my friends, Sopa, Chico and Chapa. We plan to go when one of our will get married, like a bachelor party. But a party it's not enough: we want to go at different places, in the most amazing week of our lives.

First, we will go to the best hotel in Las Vegas: Bellagio. This hotel, qualified five stars for the AAA, is the most fantastic hotel and casino resort probably of the world.  He want to play in the casino every night, and enjoy the different shows and performances of the artists in scene. Also, we would to get a suite with jacuzzi and free bar, like the bachelor party deserves.

Second, we wish to assist at UFC event, or other sport event, like a box fight night,  in the MGM Grand Garden Arena. We grew seeing Oscar de la Hoya's fights, and when i was a teenager, i saw spectacular fights of Manny Pacquiao against Rafael Márquez. For that, i hope to see one of this epic battles when i go to this amazing city.

And finally...

Oh Beauty!

Hi Classmates!!!

It's very difficult to me choose one movie as my favourite because i like so much to see movies and go to the cinema, it depends. If is a action movie or with so many special effects, i go to the cinema. If is a movie about drama, thriller or horror, i prefer stay at home.

 When was the premiere of this movie (my favourite) i was eight years old, so i saw this movie only when i was fifteen. This movie was named "American Beauty" (Sam Mendes, 1999), and although this name seems very yankee, the movie has all required to be a classic.

American beauty was starred by Kevin Spacey (my favourite actor for movies like K-pax, Seven) as Lester, a man with a boring and no sense life. Kevin was amazing in this movie, with the sadness of a defeated man, and then showing the happiness in his last days of life. Also star Mena Suvari (with 20 years old), who is perfect in her role, showing a perfectly characterization of a insecure girl who lies for to seems rebel and mature. She looks beautiful in his role! Then, this two characters fall in love of a very special form, in a context very difficult for Lester: he loses his job, his wife detest him and his daughter hate him because he is very stupid and coward. But then this change, Lester try to recovery his life, enjoying like a teenager. But this had some consequences... but nothing compared like to live, really live.

I like "American Beauty" because is a movie to reflect, and show how every one of the characters have differents difficulties, and how they can face it. A movie to see one thousand times, and discover something new. For example, the slogan for this movie is "Look Closer"... because sometimes we don't see everything around us, and every detail is important.

Also, i have a tattoo on my left arm about this movie.

Hi classmates!

This time, i want to write about something very important to me, because i'm in the last part of my career, psychology. For that, i will talk about my ideal job.

One year ago I've decided to work in the area of sports psychology. Yes, probably you don't know too much about this area, and less about the job, so i can explain you many things. First: I love sports. I love to practice and see sports, also i like to analyze the psychology of athletes.

In my country, this area relatively new, with a little development in investigation, but the possibilities to get a job in the area is high, because every year Chile spend more money in sports and athletes, for to achieve best results. I can to work in the CEO, CAR, or some club of soccer, or another sport, but i will prefer to work in the sport's induction with child, also are few professionals dedicated to this, and the formative area is the key for best achievements. It's not casualty that Spain, Germany, Russia or Cuba had good results in sports: they train with psychologist since the athlete's childhood.

I don't hope to win so much money, although i know that the paid is sufficient good for me. I will to work some much hours, because i have to travel with the athletes to the competitions. For me, that is fantastic because i love to travel. Also, i could to work with very interesting professionals, like doctors, trainers, athletes, sportsmen, physiotherapist, and others.

In a different aspect, i know that the work environment is very competitive in the professional area, but like i want to work with children the competition is not an important thing. The most important is the formation, the team and the values.

First Term is in the PAST!

Hi classmates!

In my last term (Fall-Winter), i learned many interesting things. For example, i learned to apply the Rorschach's inkblot test, and i interpreted the results, too. I never thought that this subject was the most interesting and funny, because i took this subject when i dropped another. Between other things, also i learned clinical methods for attend a child, but i will to talk this later. Finally, i studied neuropsychology and a subject about inclusion at the school. This week i went at the seminary for the inclusion in our country.

In my free time, i really didn't practice sports, although i saw it in the TV. Usually i practiced box and muay thai. The last term, only i played soccer every weekend with my friends.

I had a very difficult challenge: I went to the San Borja Hospital. In this place, i had the responsibility of send a child to another psychologist for a treatment. The case was very difficult, the hardest in the class, but i with my classmate had good results. 

At last, i had funny and amazing moments with my friends, sharing, eating. drinking, playing soccer and other things.

I hope that this term will be fantastic and better than the last!
